Greetings and thank you for exploring my website. I pride myself in the variety of skillsets I possess as well as the creativity to bring them together. I am a builder capable of small-scale construction from the ground up. I am a farmer, operating a small organic farm with my partner since 2019. I am an artist, formally trained at Cal Poly Humboldt and steeped in artistic practice from an early age.

Painting and Drawing
Classically trained in still life and figure drawing by artist Jim Moore. Well versed in a variety of mediums including charcoal, acrylics, pastels and watercolor
Metal Sculpture
Trained by artist and welder Mort Scott. Learned the entire lost-wax casting process and cast sculptures in aluminum and bronze. Learned to weld and cut metal with oxy-acetylene torches. Also trained in manual fabrication, grinding, cutting, folding etc.
Small Metals
While I only took one class in small metal work, I have kept up with the craft and expanded my skills and tools for jewelry making. I have skills in shaping, soldering, setting stones, milling and pressing wire and sheet metal, acid etching, application of patinas and more. These days I primary work in silver, copper and brass making small bracelets, pendants and rings
Printmaking
Through multiple classes and my own personal silkscreening business (my first business) I have learned the methods to a variety of printmaking techniques including linoleum and rubber block printing, wood block printing, stencil and silk screen.
Photography
I started my college career with an emphasis on photography and took many intermediate and advanced classes in both digital and film mediums. I learned professional digital editing processes and digitizing film. I also got to use medium and large format film including darkroom printing of 3’x3’ images.
Graphic Design
My graphic design skills primarily include creating logos and digital artwork using photoshop and adobe illustrator. Much of my work has been for posters and flyers as well as logos, packaging and branding for my own businesses and on commission.
